Movie News at the beginning of a new film the UFA Wochenschau presents you a new card. We were young, still unknown graphic designers of the Hochschule für bildende Künste in Hamburg the task to design a new, graphically modern poster.
Among 26 proposals, the jury chaired by Prof. Michel opted for the unusual incidence of the 27-year-old Reinhold plaster. We ask you, dear Viewer, to view our selection in the foyer of this theatre.
As the last winner of the old film year, we introduce Marcello Mastroianni. The good-looking Italian divorce artist received Ambassador Blankenhorns the "Golden shell" of the German film critics in Rome from the hands as best actor of the year.
We experienced the best advertising idea of the film year to nightly hour before a Hamburg-based cinema. A competition in the ditch for money, which brought the winning 1.000,--DM, gently to the leitmotif of a movie headed over, which then had its premiere before a festive crowd: a reckless variation on the theme of "Hunt for the money".
