a. Foreign Diplomats at Viktorshoehe
State Reception at Viktorshoehe. Bundes President Heuss received for the first time at his residence the heads of the diplomatic missions, which have been accredited to the Bundes Republic by the Allied High Commission. Diplomats from 12 European and other states were greeted by the Bundes President. The diplomats expressed their hope as to the further development and deepening of the relationship between the German Bundes Government and their nations.

b. Heuss in Schleswig-Holstein
Afterwards the Bundes President paid a state visit to Schleswig-Holstein. He went to Kiel and Flensburg. The Land Government and many thousands of people gave him a very hearty welcome. The President visited the Kiel dockyards and went on a trip through the harbor.

c. U-Boat Disaster, England
This is the place of the accident near the Thames mouth where 65 sailors met death. The British U-Boat "Truculent" sank with 80 men after a collision at night with the Swedish freighter "Diviny". Only 15 could be rescued. Every station of the safety guard was alerted and divers went down to the sunken ship. About 50 more boats searched the sea for more survivors. And all help came too late. The knocking inside the U-boat stopped - the "Truculent" gave no answer. The rescuing boats left the place of this tragedy at last, and the sea was quiet again over the grave of 65 British sailors. One of the 15 survivors reported shortly after his rescue from the tragic catastrophy.

This car uses an average of 8,5 liters, gasoline per 100 kilometers. And here is another good looking motorcar: the "Hansa 1500", constructed at the Borgwardt works, Bremen. Elegant and solid with several technical novelties. A thrill for motorcar technicians and fans!

06. A Phenomenal Basketball Team
Here we have them again - the famous negro basketball team, the Harlem Globetrotters. The ball artists have meanwhile made a journey all over America. Here we see them playing against one of the New York favorites. And they immediately became a sensation - no wonder! The Globetrotters have not been beaten in 64 matches and here they turn a dramatic match into a comedy which they finish when and how it pleases them. They won this game 75 : 60 - the clowns and kings of sport.
