After an interval of 15 years Berlin had its 31st Six Day Race in the crowded Radio Tower Hall. Top favorites were the New York winners Strom-Arnold, Australia, and Rigoni-Terruzzi, Italy. 14 teams started. The 153 meter track required the best racing qualities of all competitors. And Father Christmas was there too - that was his beard! The last day: Strom-Arnold lead the field. But there - Strom crashes, and the Italians gain. Now the last laps. The Italian team comes up more and more and all attacks of the Australians fail. There - Rigoni crashes. But Terruzzi takes his place immediately and finishes the race. Winners by one lap: Rigoni-Terruzzi, Italy; second, Strom-Arnold, Australia.

2. Football England vs Italy
The British team - white shirts - played against Italy in London. More then 70 000 people watched the most thrilling match which has ever been played between two European teams on the British Island. It has never been possible to beat England on her own ground. But this time looked like becoming an exception. The Italians dominated the play during the first half of the match and it was only due to their bad luck that they could not make a goal. Towards the end of the first half the English become better. But Moro, the cat-like Italian goal keeper manages even the most difficult moments. 0 : 0 at half time. Only one quarter of an hour before the end England succeeded in gaining her normal speed. 02. Marionette Theatre School
Professor Siegel and his students take great care of this traditional art at their Braunschweig School, The training of the students takes over two years and includes the study of wood carving, painting and theatre history.
