a. Fishing Steamers from America
Three American fishing steamers arrived at Bremerhaven as part of 12 ships which are put at the disposal of the German shipping companies by the military Government. Each steamer can hold 4 - 5.000 hundredweights. These modern ships will steam to Iceland for fish, to help the German fishermen, and to spare imports and foreign exchange. Result of the Conference
The Paris conference has ended. An agreement was found on the Austrian Treaty. After the last secret session the Foreign Ministers seem to be satisfied over their progress. In the German discussions the representatives of the four powers could only establish a temporary solution on economic questions. It was decided to take up the other problems at the next meeting of the UN in September. Furthermore it was agreed that till the next meeting all partners would stay in contact and try to avoid new disagreements.

05. Sport:

a. Tennis at Wimbledon
Champions from 28 nations at Wimbledon, England, and an international public. One of the best matches was Mulloy against Schröder, both USA. Schröder begins. Slowmotion camera: Mulloy at his best form. He wins both sets.
A dramatic incident: Mulloy can not reach a slow ball and crashes down. This is the decisive 5th set. This match is typical in its hard and fast style. Although Schröder has a cramp in his arm, his strokes are still as hard as before. Schröder playing: 3:6, 9:11, 6:1, 6:0, 7:5 won the match.
