Then President Truman makes his inaugural speech outlining especially the aims of the USA in foreign policy. A great parade was held which lasted more than 5 hrs. Troops, delegates and festival cars. Besides Truman: Barkley, new Vice President. This was a festive day for Washington and the whole of America.
