02. Count Bernadotte Mediates in Palestine
The UN appointed the President of the Swedish Red Cross, Count Bernadotte, as mediator in the Palestine conflict. As director of the Swedish Relief Programme for Germany Bernadotte has visited German towns after the war. Coming from Stockholm he stopped in Paris, meeting the French Foreign Minister Bidault. For his mission the UN supplied Bernadotte with a white plane carrying the sing of the UN and the Red Cross. 06. In Memory of Wilhelm Busch
40 years ago Wilhelm Busch died. In the small village of Wiedensahl in Lower Saxony he created his famous works which are still beloved by children and adults.
