A Festival of the Senoussi
The French Governor General Chataigneau presents the Scheik Bon Tek, the chief of the Senoussi, with the Grand Order of the Legion of Honour.

On the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the USSR a festive concert was held in Vienna in the presence of many representatives of the Allied Forces. State Chancellor Dr. Renner delivered the introductory speech.
The Marshal of the Red Army, Konjew, followed him.
The Viennese Philharmonic Orchestra, the Symphonic Orchestra and the choir of the Viennese State-Opera performed the Coronation Scene from Moussorgsky's Opera "Boris Godunow" under direction of Prof. Krips.
